Convenient Appointment Options
We offer in-person patient care by appointment. This is always the ideal for veterinary care, involving a full physical examination. Since your pet cannot tell us what is wrong, we rely heavily on the pet parent's description of symptoms and the physical examination to obtain a diagnosis. Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone. To schedule online, click HERE. Or give us a call at: 603-742-1203
Central Park Veterinary Clinic provides care in all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Endocrinology, and more. For complicated cases in which a referral may be preferred, we are fortunate to be in an area where we have many options for veterinarians in almost any specialty.
Home Dental Care: The team at Central Park Veterinary Clinic can teach you how to support your pet's dental health at home. Home dental care is an important for our pets as it is for our own health. Brushing your pet's teeth daily is ideal and we can teach you how. Hint! It isn't as difficult as it sounds! Other home dental care options are also available and we can help you determine the best home dental care plan for your pet to reduce their risk of potentially painful dental disease.
Professional Dental Care: Most pets should have a professional oral health evaluation and cleaning every 1-3 years throughout their lives. No matter how effective your home dental care is, your pet will still build up some plaque and tartar. Our goal is to prevent that from developing into periodontal disease, infection, tooth loss and other painful complications. At CPVC, we will perform a CORE dental procedure, which stands for Complete Oral and Radiographic Evaluation. Your pet will receive a thorough oral examination by the veterinarian, as well as full mouth X-Rays to evaluate the health of the teeth below the gumline where we cannot see. In fact, most significant dental disease occurs below the gumline! After the oral health evaluation, our team will use modern and safe ultrasonic scaling to clean each tooth thoroughly above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. We also perform dental surgery and tooth extractions when needed.
Behavior problems are a top cause of people's frustration with their pets. Behavior problems can develop at any age, from puppyhood or kittenhood up through all life stages. The earlier a behavior problem is addressed, the better (and usually quicker) the resolution. We can help with behavior concerns ranging from basic housetraining and manners, recommending local trainers, and answering general questions about your pet's behavior.
Behavior changes in pets can sometimes occur in pets due to medical issues. Our veterinarians will rule out medical causes of behavior changes or concerns, such as pain, hormone abnormalities, endocrine diseases, and more.
For complicated behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, socialization or reactivity issues, we offer behavioral consultations. These consults are extended visits in which we attempt to identify the problems you are dealing with, as well as any underlying causes, and try to find a resolution that is best for you and your pet. The behavior plan will likely involve training and behavior modification techniques, and may also include nutritional supplements or medications to aid in the behavior modification process.
For some behavioral issues, referral to a board certified veterinary behavior specialist may be recommended.

Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pets comfort and dignity. We understand the difficulty associated with end of life decisions and we try to be available to our clients to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. Due to the sensitive nature of euthanasia we try to work around your schedule to make this most difficult decision as comfortable as possible. Euthanasia can be scheduled in the clinic or we can arrange to go to your home in order to make this difficult situation as comfortable as possible for you and your pet. House calls require advanced notice to schedule. We offer cremation services for your beloved pet through our partner, Final Gift Cremation Services. They are very professional and we put our trust in their services.
Permanent Identification: Microchips
Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We partner with Home Again, a microchip company that provides extensive lost pet services to improve the chance of reuniting pets with their families.
All pets benefit from a high quality, balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active. We recommend Hill's, Royal Canin, Purina Pro Plan and Eukanuba Pet Foods. These companies have performed extensive research on the safety and nutritional content of their diets and, have shown that their foods provide high quality nutrition for our beloved pets. At Central Park Veterinary Clinic, we carry Hill's Prescription Diets for those pets with special nutritional needs. You can also order high quality pet diets through our online store, or directly from Hill's with their Hills To Home program. Each of these options helps support our small business with each purchase.
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
Radiology & Ultrasound
Radiolographs, or X-rays, help our veterinarians evaluate musculoskeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. We have digital radiography which provides higher quality images as well as allows for rapid analysis by specialists in cases where this is needed. All radiographs obtained at Central Park Veterinary Clinic are reviewed by a board certified radiologist.
Ultrasound technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. For evaluation of the heart via ultrasound, board-certified cardiologist referrals are available.
We offer advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet.
